Meet our newest designer, Kim Klinkovsky

April 2015 Colorado

Hello my name is Kim.

I went to the Colorado Institute of Art and have been crafty all my life thanks to my mom, grandmothers, and sisters. I have been a collector of pattern paper, stamps, and craft tools for about 15 years. I turned my passion into a career in 2010 when I worked for a couple local craft stores teaching classes and managing the stores. I’m very passionate about creating from the heart and making it homemade. I love to make cards and scrapbooks using pretty papers, ink, stamps, tools, and any kind of bling to make it sparkle. Last year I started submitting my cards for publication. It took eleven months, but I will finally be published in the Fall and Winter issues of CardMaker Magazine. As well as, “My Kraft Kloset” will be in Papercraft Inspirations Magazine for their “blog of the month” feature article. I have been married 20 years to an honorably discharged disabled US Army Veteran and we have four children: one daughter and three sons, including a set of twins. I live in the gorgeous state of Colorado in the shadows of the great Rocky Mountains and loving every minute of it.

Love My Fabrics Bow Wreath

Now that Easter has come & gone, it’s time to take down my Easter Decorations and start setting up my Summer displays.

For the last few months I have been on this homemade wreath kick, and decided to create a new wreath using my Love My Fabrics   Red Ribbon Collection.   I have made many ribbon knot wreaths but this time I wanted to create a wreath with all bows.  It’s hard to see it from the pictures.. but every piece of fabric is tied in a bow.

Red Ribbon Collection from Love My Fabrics

Supplies needed for this wreath.

I cut slits in the fabric then just pulled each strip off.

You can keep adding bows by squishing the bows tighter.. or pull them apart so you can really see the bows.

I did not do a pattern, I just used 4 different fabrics and just randomly added them.

Finished Wreath. I hung it in the middle of this huge frame. I am teaching this class on Tuesday then sending this wreath to the owner of Love My Fabrics.

For more fabric collections please check out this ETSY shop of Love My Fabrics.  You only need one collection to create this wreath and a roll of burlap ribbon.  You can easily create a few as hostess gifts, teacher gifts, or one for your front door~

Hope you like my wreath!
